Welcome to Year 3 2025-26
Autumn Term
In Science and DT we have been learning about healthy eating. We tasted different types of bread and decided which would be the healthiest for making a sandwich.
In P.E we have been developing the skills necessary to participate in yoga.
As part of our computing unit this term we have been programming using the hardware Micro bits.
In History we have been learning about how life was for children in the Victorian era. We enjoyed dressing up as a Victorian child.
On Victorian day, we dressed as Victorian children and found out about the life of children during the Victorian era.
Summer Term
We have had lots of fun in Forest School this term. We have built shelters, hunted minibeasts and used tools.
Fortunately the weather stayed nice for our sports day and we all had a wonderful time competing in the different sports. It was lovely to have some of our parents their to watch us too.
We all had great fun learning the songs for our performance of Cinderella and enjoyed performing for the school and our parents.
We had a Science show on Forces and Magnetism. It was great fun!
This term we will be practising our rounders and athletics skills.
