Our Learning Journey
Christmas Fun
During December in FS2 we have been very busy; the children took part in the annual Nativity production, all the children were superstars. We have written letters to Father Christmas, taken part in fun maths activities that were Christmas based. We made and decorated buns for our Christmas party, and also made lovely cards and calendars for parents. Winter wonderland was amazing and the children were excited to see Father Christmas.
Being active
In Early Years we like to keep active. The children take part in PE, brain break dances, Forest school and have lots of fun during outdoor play.
Autumn Festivals
In FS2 this is a busy time of year; we have celebrated and learnt about a number of festivals, Halloween, Harvest, Remembrance Day and Bonfire night. We created art work, made bread and breadstick sparklers, and respected the two minutes of silence on November 11th. Please enjoy looking at all our learning.
Our First Days
Enjoying our first days at Mount Pleasant; exploring the Foundation Unit, doing the Daily Mile and having lunch together.
Autumn Learning
During the first half term the children have been learning lots of new things. They have enjoyed taking part in Forest School, learning about number in maths and thinking about our families.
